Martin Chair and All Other Econ/Finance Scholarships

The Martin Chair of Insurance has several scholarships available. One simple online application puts you in the pool for ALL the department scholarships for the upcoming academic year for which you are eligible.

Last year, across the areas of Economics, Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate, 46 scholarships were awarded for a total value of $76,000, so there are a lot of reasons to apply — 76,000 to be precise!

Other Insurance Scholarships

• The Norm Ziegler Trailblazer Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate student members working towards a career in the insurance and risk management industry. Norm (Norbert) Ziegler was a mentor to many in the insurance industry and owner of Frontier Adjusters. Norm was a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals. two scholarships valued at $2,000 each will be awarded annually. The application and accompanying documents must be typed and submitted by the deadline via online form. APPLICATION TIMELINE Scholarship applications will be accepted until February 15 at 5:00 PM EST. All applicants will be notified of the selection decision by March 15.
