2004 Inductee Ewing Carruthers

Ewing was born on March 14, 1917 in Memphis.  He attended high school there and received a BA degree from Southwestern College (now Rhodes) in Memphis in 1939.

 Ewing went to work with Mass Mutual Life Insurance Co. in April 1939, and except for a three-year stint in the Navy during WWII, was with that company since – 65 years of loyal and dedicated service to his company and to the insurance industry.
