2003 Inductee John B. Peyton

John B. Peyton was born in Raymond, MS, but has lived most of his life in Memphis, TN.  John graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.S. degree in History in 1954.  He received the Chartered Life Underwriter designation (CLU) in 1966 and the Chartered Financial Consultant designation (ChFC) in 1983 from the American College.  He also received the Accredited Estate Planner designation (AEP) in 1997 from the National Association of Estate Planning Council.

He has been a partner in the Peyton/Merriam Financial Group, General Agents for Canada Life Financial, since 1963.
